Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SnapSell Pte. Ltd. (“SnapSell”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the SnapSell mobile application (the “App”). By using SnapSell, you agree to this Policy.
SnapSell helps you turn a photo of an item into a ready-to-publish Facebook Marketplace listing using AI.
1Information We Collect
a) Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address, a password (stored securely by our authentication provider — we never see it in plain text), and your display name and optional avatar. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.
b) Photos and images
When you photograph or upload an item, the image is processed to generate your listing and to create an enhanced, studio-style version of the photo. Images are sent to our AI processing providers for this purpose (see Section 3).
c) Listing content
The titles, prices, descriptions, categories, and other details you create or edit, and the publishing status of your listings.
d) Selling logistics you provide
Optional information such as meet-up locations and accepted payment methods, used to personalize your generated listings.
e) Marketplace session data
To publish on your behalf, the App uses an in-app browser (WebView) where you log in to Facebook Marketplace directly. Your Facebook session cookies are stored on your device to keep you signed in. We do not receive, store, or have access to your Facebook password.
f) Device & usage data
A push-notification token (if you enable notifications), and basic usage/diagnostic data such as feature usage counts and error logs used to keep the App reliable and enforce fair-use limits.
2How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create AI-generated listings from your photos;
- Enhance your product photos;
- Suggest competitive prices;
- Publish and manage your listings on your connected marketplace(s);
- Operate, secure, and improve the App;
- Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse;
- Send you notifications you have opted into.
We do not sell your personal information.
3Third-Party Service Providers
We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

These providers are bound by their own privacy terms and process data only to deliver their service to us. Photos are sent for processing and are not used by us to train our own models.
4Data Storage & Security
Your account and listing data are stored securely with our backend provider and protected by row-level security, so each account can access only its own data. Marketplace session cookies remain on your device. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5Data Retention
We retain your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7). Some diagnostic/usage records may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form.
6Children’s Privacy
SnapSell is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7Your Rights
Depending on your location (including under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these — including deleting your account and data — contact us at dev@snapsll.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the App.
